Austin HVAC is hiring HVAC Installers for residential new-construction projects. Experienced installers are encouraged to apply, but we are also willing to train motivated individuals with minimal experience.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Install residential HVAC systems in new-construction homes
• Read and follow blueprints, mechanical plans, job layouts, and installation instructions
• Install ductwork, HVAC equipment, refrigerant lines, drain lines, exhaust systems, thermostats, registers, grilles, and related materials
• Maintain a high level of workmanship while working efficiently
• Identify and report plan, material, or field-condition problems before they cause delays or rework
• Communicate clearly with supervisors, builders, warehouse personnel, and other installers
• Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
• Properly track and care for company tools, materials, and equipment
• Correct deficiencies and complete punch-list items when required
• Represent Austin HVAC professionally on every jobsite

Qualifications

• Residential HVAC installation experience preferred but not required
• Willingness to learn and be trained in HVAC installation
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
• Ability to read basic blueprints and mechanical plans (or willingness to learn)
• Knowledge of HVAC installation materials and tools is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely lift equipment and materials and work in attics, on ladders, and outdoors
• Must be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
